Amanda is an emerging artist graduated from the Fine Arts program at University of the Fraser Valley. Her work engages with the audience in order to elicit an emotional reaction. Many of Amanda's works have generated from personal experiences that she has gained throughout the years as an average individual. She also concentrates on personal and observed experiences as a female. Throughout Amanda's work, she projects her private life into the public sphere.

 

The mediums that are commonly used within Amanda's practice are photography, painting, sculpture and extended media. There is no limit when using a variety of mediums. In doing so, her work is able to achieve the message without confining to one medium. When presenting her works, she centres her thoughts on the installation to execute an experience that will resonate with the viewers.
